What is sublimation?

Sublimation is a popular printing method that transfers a colorful graphic design into fabric or material (recommended on POLYESTER fabric and specially glazed items, such as coffee mugs) using heat. The result is a permanent, vibrant print that will resist fading through washing. It's likely you already own apparel with ink infused designs and will notice it has indeed stood the test of time and repeated washing.  The caveat is that the sublimation print is recommended for polyester fabric on garment and glazed cups especially created to hold and retain the sublimation inks. While you can absolutely do this on cotton, it's not ideal and the results will not be as vibrant nor have the same fade resistant ability.
